Vice-President of the North Rhine-Westphalia State Parliament visits Humintech
On 29 April 2026, the Vice-President of the North Rhine-Westphalia State Parliament, Berivan Aymaz (Alliance 90/The Greens parliamentary group), visited the company Humintech.
The visit focused on innovative solutions for climate protection, sustainable agriculture and modern environmental technologies. Discussions centred in particular on the potential of humic acids for soil improvement, supporting CO₂ sequestration and their application in environmental and water treatment.
Humintech presented current developments and practical applications of its products in the fields of soil remediation, humus formation and wastewater treatment.
Berivan Aymaz, Vice-President of the North Rhine-Westphalia State Parliament:
“The exchange with innovative companies such as Humintech demonstrates the potential of nature-based solutions for climate protection. In particular, the approaches to soil improvement and CO₂ sequestration are key building blocks for a sustainable future.”
Even a small amount of humus in the soil can sequester significant quantities of CO₂ in the long term. Humintech develops solutions for this purpose that are used worldwide in agriculture, environmental technology and wastewater treatment.
The visit underscores the importance of dialogue between politics and industry for the development of sustainable environmental technologies.
