The effect of POWHUMUS® was examined for the increase in crop yields and quality in numerous field trials. A few examples from the experiments in agriculture, fruit and vegetable production are presented:
Yield increase of potato culture after POWHUMUS® application (Egypt)
After application of 6 kg/ha POWHUMUS® the yield increased from 900 gram to 1,200 gram per plant. Also, the average potato size increased. Big and average sized potatoes preponderate to small sized potatoes. (See picture below)
In the trial, a yield increase was determined in size 30–60 mm of up to 38 percent of marketable potatoes in the potato variety “Irga” A yield increase of 41 percent could be found also in the fraction over 60 millimeter. (See figure below)
Also, onions were grown with POWHUMUS® . In the trial we incorporated 3 and 6 kg/ha of POWHUMUS® into the soil. The fertilization was performed in accordance with usual good practices. Higher yields were measured up to 17 percent. The quality of the crops was improved as well. The percentage of marketable crop on the total harvest increased significantly as well. (See figure below)
When growing the sugar beets using a need-based mineral fertilization along with POWHUMUS®, a very good growth in earnings was achieved. The application of 6 kg/ha POWHUMUS® shows an increase in yield of up to 21 percent, based on the sugar yield. (See figure below)
In a number of trials, corn was incorporated with 6 kg/ha POWHUMUS® into the soil. The fertilization was performed as usual in accordance with good practices. Higher grain yields were measured up to 14.7 percent compared to control.

Increased shoot and root growth at strawberry cultures after POWHUMUS® application (Germany)
The addition of 4 kg/ha POWHUMUS® to strawberry cultures directly after their cultivation in greenhouses caused a strong growth of the shoots and the roots. Also, the dry weight of the plants increased, proving the increased nutrient uptake.
Basil (Ocimum basilicum)

The results of this study showed that the application of humic acid on growth and yield parameters was effective. Application of humic acid with concentration H4 (15 g/l for 0.5 m²) showed the best increase in growth and yield, but the biggest plant height was observed for H2 (5 g/l for 0.5 m²).
Wheat (Triticum aestivum)
Through the positive impact of applying 15 kg/ha of POWHUMUS®, an increase of the soil water holding capacity by 24 percent was achieved.
