We offer different types of basic and more sophisticated products based on humic acids and leonardite. They come in a powder, liquid or granulated water-soluble form. They can be used in both farmyard manure or slurry to reduce the smell and the emission of harmful gases such as methane and ammonia. With this technology, we do not just reduce emissions but provide a better quality farm manure, which if used in agriculture improves soil condition. Humic substances stimulate the soil biology, set nutrients free and optimize the water balance of soil and plant. Gas emissions are more and more strictly controlled around the world and non-compliance with limits is subject to ever tougher penalties. Our products are produced from highly oxidised German lignite sources (leonardite) originating from the decomposition of organic matter. Leonardite originates from the chemical and biological humification of plant matter combined with the biological activity of microorganisms.
Scientific studies have shown that 25% of harmful greenhouse gas emissions and 93% of ammonia emissions (NH3) come from agriculture, and from livestock breeding in particular. Furthermore, the emissions caused by more and more intensive breeding and large farms are an inconvenience for the public.
According to the findings of the International Bodensee Conference on manure treatment in 2009, brown coal based products are one of the most succesful resources for slurry treatment as they can reduce emissions by 99%. The high humin content of our products helps to adsorb harmful gases and odors and to produce a high-quality manure for agriculture.

Humodor® WSG Micro Granule is a light powder for use in slurry tanks. It helps reduce emissions by forming a barrier and binding gases. The nutrients bound to the humins lastingly improve the quality of the slurry and the soil.
Dosage: When using for the first time, mix 2% to the slurry (20 kg/m3). After that the dosage goes down to 1% (10 kg/m3) every 2-3 weeks.
