TEMA Foundation for Nature Conservation
TEMA Foundation for Nature Conservation is actively engaged in international partnerships within the fields of nature protection, combating desertification and climate protection. It supports reforestation projects and contributes to keep nature’s eco systems in balance. Humintech is a sponsor of 400 trees in TEMA’s tree plantation at Catalca / Istanbul.
Plan International is a child welfare organization effectuating sustainable, child-oriented self-help projects in more than 50 countries around the globe. Supported communities are immediately and actively involved in planning and conducting the various projects. They are financed via direct child sponsoring and individual donations. Humintech Ltd. supports Plan’s project “Water for Ghana”, which is making for a better access to clean water for 20,000 children and adults.
Humintech Ltd. supports Düsseldorfer Kinderträume (Engl.: Children’s Dreams Dusseldorf). The foundation does a great job for disabled, sick and socially weak children in Dusseldorf. Besides taking action for strengthening social environments of children, the foundation brings about recreational events with a pedagogical background.
For fugitives living in Germany, education is a key factor for successful integration and accessing the labor market. Humintech Ltd. supports Grevenbroich city’s refugee relief initiative in restocking the inventory of text books for fugitives.
Humintech is a proud sponsor of ZUSAMMEN/KUNST, an anual cultural event with both aspiring authors from all over Germany and local artists from the Lower Rhine area realizing a joint stage program. Initiator of the event is non-profit literature society KeinVerlag e.V. KeinVerlag e.V. was founded to support and promote Germany’s biggest online literature community KeinVerlag.de and its authors. A special focus is on youth work.
Turkish caricaturist Oguz Peker draws cartoons on the complex topic of xenophobia since the 1980s. Humintech has supported the artist in organizing and conducting his exhibition “Keiner zuhause” (Nobody home) with works on the refugee crisis. The vernissage took place in the premises of graphica agency in Dusseldorf in the autumn of 2016. The event’s patron was Mr. Thorsten Klute, head of the federal province’s State Secretariat for Integration, with opening addresses by Dusseldorf’s Commissioner for Refugees Mrs. Miriam Koch and Rheinberg based publicist and artist Renan Cengiz.
Humintech Ltd. has been a joint organizer of a vernissage by Istanbul based artist Setenay Özbek in the premises of Dusseldorf’s TIGGES law company. The event’s patron was Turkish consul general Mr. Firat Sunel with additional support from Dusseldorf’s Head of Cultural Affairs Mr. Hans-Georg Lohe. Özbek’s exhibition was accompanied by composer, pianist and conductor Betin Günes’ virtuous piano playing. Lawyer Dr. Michael Tigges and Humintech CEO Aydogan Cengiz led through the evening.
