Leonardite Based Humic Acids

DESCRIPTION
LeoFeed® is a  leonardite-based feed supplement powder. LeoFeed® contains only natural raw materials and natural acids, minerals and microelements in a form complexed by organic humic acid. This means they are easily absorbed in the digestive tract of animals, thus promoting the digestibility of feed and enabling a better specific feed consumption. Binds toxicants and chemical residues. Enhances resistance to stress. Its use results in a faster weight gain and a healthier stock.

ORIGIN
LeoFeed® is produced from highly oxidised German lignite sources (leonardite) originating from the decomposition of organic matter. Leonardite originates from the chemical and biological humification of plant matter combined with the high biological activity of microorganisms. 

BENEFITS
Humic and  fulvic acids created during brown coal (leonardite) formation are organic complex-forming molecules with exceptional properties that facilitate the uptake of microelements. They help to build up energy-generating and protective capacities and play a major role in detoxication. The ”four powers” of humic acids (effective uptake, biological effect, detoxication, natural origin) surpass the properties of traditional complex formers.

LeoFeed® can be used for all animals as prevention or additional treatment for diarrhea. It can help to detoxicate the animals of heavy metals and mycotoxins. It can be used as a key element of specific toxin binders.

Results of its applications for different species:

Pigs: 

  • Reduces the risk of diarrhea at weaning and in the pre-fattening stage caused by feed change and re-grouping.
  • Improves feed conversion, thus leading to a better weight gain
  • Reduces ammonia emission and smell
  • Reduces the risk of mycotoxins 

Poultry: 

  • Reduces the risk of diarrhea
  • Reduces the sensitivity of broilers and turkeys to stress
  • Improves immunity, thus promoting growth
  • Reduces ammonia emission and smell
  • Reduces the risk of mycotoxins 

Cattle: 

  • In dairy cows, reduces the risk of mastitis and high somatic cell counts.
  • Reduces ammonia emission and smell
  • Reduces the risk of mycotoxins, especially of aflatoxin

 

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
For all livestock species, mix in with the feed

Recommended applications:

Feed:
8-10 kg per ton of feed

Body weight:
0.25 g per kg of body weight per day
